Why advertise on an Every Door Local mailer

Thousands of local homes

Put your business directly in front of households in the neighborhoods you already serve.

Shared marketing cost

Split production and mailing with complementary local businesses instead of funding a campaign alone.

Category exclusivity

Select campaigns reserve one position per business category, so you are not placed beside a direct competitor.

We handle the mail

Design, proofing, printing, preparation and delivery are handled for you.

Actual size

Nine inches by twelve.

Big enough that it will not slide into the stack of window envelopes. It gets picked up, turned over and put down somewhere — which is most of the battle.

Larger than a sheet of paper
A letter page is 8½ × 11. This is bigger, and it arrives face up rather than folded in an envelope.
It does not stack
Oversized mail sits on top of the pile instead of disappearing into it.
Eight businesses fit comfortably
At this size each advertiser gets a real advertisement — logo, offer, services, a code and a phone number — not a directory line.

See what your customers see

One card. Choose how much of it is yours.

Every campaign runs on the same oversized 9 × 12 card. The only decision you make is whether you take a standard spot or a double.

Standard spot

Eight businesses, one card.

Four across the top, four below the nameplate. Your logo, your offer, a service list, a scannable code and your phone number set large enough to read from across a kitchen.

  • One position per business category
  • Your own artwork, proofed before it prints
  • The most advertisers per campaign, so the lowest share of cost

Double spot

Twice the room. Same mailbox.

A double spot is two positions wide. That is enough space for a real photograph of your work, four lines of what you actually do, and a contact panel that does not have to compete with anything.

  • Room for photography, not just a logo
  • Body copy instead of a one-line offer
  • Limited — a card carries at most two

How it works

Three steps, and we carry the rest.

You make two decisions — where it goes and what it says. Everything after that is ours.

  1. 01

    Choose your market

Pick the community, neighborhoods, ZIP codes or carrier routes you want to reach. We show you the distribution area before anything is committed.

  2. 02

    Claim your spot

Choose an available advertising category and secure your placement on an upcoming mailer. We tell you honestly what is open in your area.

  3. 03

    We design and mail it

We build your advertisement, send a proof for your approval, print the card, and get it into local mailboxes. Nothing prints until you sign off.

Explore a real mailer

Category exclusivity

When you advertise with Every Door Local, you are not competing with a wall of businesses offering the same service as you.

Select campaigns reserve one advertising position per business category. Availability depends on the market and on which categories are already claimed, so we confirm what is open before you commit to anything.

Targeting

Reach the neighborhoods that matter.

You do not need every household in the metro. You need the ones inside your service area — the streets you already drive to.

ZIP codes
Start with the codes you already recognise from your invoices.
Carrier routes
The postal routes inside those codes, so coverage follows how mail is actually delivered.
Neighborhoods
Named areas your customers use when they describe where they live.
Household density
How many homes a route covers, which is what the campaign is priced against.

Distribution is geographic. We do not target households by demographic profile, and we will show you the exact routes a campaign covers before you commit.

Who it's for

Businesses that get bought nearby.

If most of your customers live within a few miles of your door, the mailbox is a channel you are probably not using.

Why direct mail

Your customers still check their mail.

Not because digital stopped working, but because the mailbox is one of the few places a local business can show up without bidding against a national brand.

A postcard occupies physical space. It gets carried from the mailbox to the counter, and it sits there — sometimes for weeks — where a scrolled-past impression cannot.

It is also unambiguously local. Everyone who receives it lives inside the area you serve, which is not something most advertising channels can promise without a targeting setting you have to trust.

And it connects to everything else you do. A QR code on your ad block takes someone straight to your booking page, your reviews or a specific offer — so the card is the introduction and your site does the rest.

We are not going to tell you direct mail beats digital advertising. It is a different channel with different strengths, and the businesses that do best with it usually run both.

This isn’t another digital ad.

It’s something your customer can hold onto.

  • Your business
  • Your offer
  • Your phone number
  • A scannable QR code
  • A local household
  • A targeted neighborhood

The economics

Imagine reaching 10,000 households.

Not a projection or a case study — just the shape of how a shared campaign works.

  1. Step 1

    10,000

households in the routes you choose

  2. Step 2

    Your ad

    plus other non-competing local businesses

  3. Step 3

    Shared

you carry a portion, not the whole campaign

  4. Step 4

    6¢ each

a full position across 10,000 homes

Illustrative only. Actual distribution quantities, pricing and campaign economics vary by market, format, route selection and timing. We do not publish customer acquisition figures, because we would be making them up.

FAQ

The questions we actually get.

What exactly am I buying?

A spot on a shared postcard that gets mailed to homes in the area you pick. You are buying local reach — the postcard is how it gets there. Your ad block is designed for you, printed, and delivered with the rest of the card.

Who else is on the card with me?

Other local businesses that do not compete with you. A card might carry a roofer, an HVAC company, a dentist, a landscaper and a restaurant. We reserve one position per category on every campaign, so you are never placed beside a direct competitor.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the market, how many households the campaign covers, which format it runs in, and when it mails. Because the card is shared, you carry a portion of the total campaign cost rather than the whole thing. Tell us your area and we will quote the campaigns available there.

Do I have to design the ad myself?

No. We design your ad block, send you a proof, and it does not print until you approve it. If you have brand assets we will use them; if you do not, we will build something that fits the card.

How do I know where it gets mailed?

You choose the market and we show you the distribution area for that campaign — the ZIP codes and carrier routes it covers — before you commit.
